Strategy & Policy

Only effective and efficient energy policies can make the energy transition successful. At the same time and due  to the increasing (re-)regulation of large market segments, the influence of energy policy on corporate strategies is growing. Political frameworks and strategic responses are interacting ever more closely.

Against this background, the Strategy & Policy department of enervis advises on strategic decisions in the energy industry and on the design of energy policy framework conditions. To this end, we design individual projects and develop studies that provide the best possible support for the upcoming decision. We combine know-how and methodology according to the project needs. Out modelling reveals complex interrelationships and provides concrete recommendations.

We work for a broad range of associations, NGOs, think tanks, government institutions and companies from all energy sectors. Our work focuses on decarbonisation scenarios and strategies for the energy market (e.g. coal phase-out), market design studies, PPA procurement strategies for industrial companies, auction modelling and strategy, investment appraisal and due diligence as well as market models for various biomass segments.
