The market value of renewable electricity achieved via merchant sales to the wholesale market or via PPAs plays a central role in the economic viability of wind and PV projects and thus in investment and operation decisions. We offer the systematic economic assessment of future merchant revenues considering specific locations and asset technologies. Our revenue reports provide a detailed revenue assessment for onshore wind, offshore wind, and PV projects in all European electricity price zones.
Our revenue reports are an important addition to the classic yield reports, which are used to estimate a project’s energy yield. enervis revenue reports deliver valuable insights in the context of project development, financing and transactions.
The revenue report quantifies financial revenues on the basis of hourly wholesale prices and equally detailed generation profiles. These are based on high-resolution site-specific wind speed or irradiation time series and the time series of electricity production and wholesale marketing (electricity prices from the enervis electricity price forecasts). Our revenue report is site- and project-specific, i. e. it considers the exact project parameters (for wind, including hub height, power curve and possible operating restrictions; for PV, including orientation, tilt angle, DC-AC ratio and inverter power curve).
The enervis revenue report quantifies incomes from the electricity market both during the term of a granted tariff (e. g. additional revenue from the sliding market premium) and after the end of the tariff (merchant tail, post-PPA phase). Revenue losses from negative electricity prices and the German EEG § 51 regulation are also calculated in detail.
A revenue report is therefore indispensable for the evaluation of new investments as well as for projects in operation. enervis offers revenue reports for onshore wind, offshore wind and PV projects in all European electricity price zones.
