Reference Study Sector Coupling

It is already clear today that sector coupling shifts sales volumes between the energy sources power, natural gas, synthetic gases and district heating and is seen as a risk for gas grids. The technical and economical lifetimes of grid assets require that all new investments in this asset class are also feasible beyond 2050. Many grid operators are faced with major investments and must not only justify them in front of internal committees, but also discuss them in public and represent them effectively.

The Expert Forecast Sector Coupling provides you with a spatially high-resolution forecast of the energy demand and thus a solid basis for decisions on investments in electricity, gas and heat networks. The joint consideration of the energy systems helps to develop synergies between them.

Our externally validated assessment supports you not only in internal assessments, but also in communicating with committees and public stakeholders.
