enerStorage Pro is our established online tool for revenue optimization and valuation for stand-alone and co-location battery storage systems in Germany. Since May 2024, it has been supporting project developers, energy suppliers, traders and investors with revenue assessments in the profitability analysis of battery storage projects.
Using a modern and intuitive user interface, you can set up your project independently, configure it individually and calculate it quickly. The integrated project simulation logic allows you to determine the optimal design of your system and efficiently compare different storage configurations. enerStorage Pro helps you, for example, to identify the ideal ratio between renewable system, battery storage and grid connection for your project in no time at all.
Regardless of which project phase you are in:
Your project configuration is entered via an intuitive input mask and all relevant BESS and renewable system parameters are queried. Once you have made your entries, you can calculate the potential market revenues on available markets (spot markets & ancillary services) with a single click. Within a few seconds (stand-alone) or minutes (co-location), you will receive well-founded revenue calculations for your battery project.
You can create and manage any number of different projects and calculate unlimited simulations for each project so that you can easily determine your ideal configuration and system dimensioning.
In addition to the classic stand-alone setup, the online tool also allows you to assess co-located BESS with or without grid connection alongside one or multiple renewable energy plants to determine the potential of a shared grid connection.
For the simulation of renewable energy revenues, an internal enervis yield model is used, based on the same weather data as the enervis power price forecasts – ensuring a consistent and practice-oriented assessment.
Grey Co-Location: Easily analyse the impact of renewable generation on battery storage revenues at a shared grid connection. In the case of grey co-location, only battery revenues are reported, as the economics of the renewable energy plant remain unaffected. One or two PV plants, a wind plant, or a hybrid system can be considered.
Green Co-Location: No grid connection for electricity imports is available – assess your storage project as a green storage system. In the case of green co-location, the PV plant and the BESS are always evaluated jointly as a single business case. Accordingly, both PV revenues and BESS revenues are reported.
enerStorage Pro provides you with valuable results on the potential market revenues of your project - both for stand-alone and co-location storage. The tool is currently available for the German market.
