With progressing decarbonization of the power sector a more diverse set of technologies (Wind, PV, Storage, H₂) and different “routes to market” (auctions, merchant) become relevant for investors. By providing an overview of different investment opportunities and an outlook on short- and medium-term attractiveness for investment, this workshop addresses developers as well as investors looking for opportunities in the German power market.
The inhouse workshop will start with a discussion of current political objectives and the general regulatory framework in place. This is followed by specific blocks addressing different generation and storage assets, in which the relevant routes to market and the corresponding regulatory framework conditions will be discussed in more detail. Finally, a comparison of the different market segments and an outlook on the attractiveness for investment is given.
