24/7 PPA Platform

Corporate climate and sustainability goals require industrial consumers to reduce their carbon footprint. Power purchase agreements (PPAs) have become an integral part of corporate decarbonization, but do not enable every kilowatt-hour of electricity consumption to be met with carbon-free electricity. In contrast, 24/7 PPAs provide green electricity every hour of the day, promoting a fully decarbonized electricity system.

To date, however, there is no clear standard for 24/7 PPAs. To encourage the expansion of such PPAs, enervis is initiating a 24/7 PPA platform. The platform brings together companies with different roles (industry, generation, utilities) to define and discuss options for 24/7 PPAs. It is a market development platform designed to facilitate exchange and discussion among market participants and develop recommendations for future market standards.

ADDED VALUE

  • Be the vanguard of the 24/7 PPA trend, driving the decarbonization of the power market
  • Shape the future market standard of 24/7 PPAs
  • Build internal expertise on the next generation of PPAs
  • Engage with 24/7 market participants (industry, generation, utilities) and prepare future business deals
