Gas and Power Procurement

enervis supports the procurement of gas and power for distributors and industrial customers. The spectrum of procurement types ranges from classic tranche models to service models and the introduction of portfolio management at the customer. Our knowledge of the complete range of procurement types enables our customers to identify cost-effective procurement models that meet their requirements. enervis has sound know-how in the trading market. Our own evaluation tools for flexibility and structure create a far-reaching understanding and make it possible to identify and evaluate risks in contracts. There is currently a trend in which more and more suppliers are shifting risks to their customers. As these are not directly stated, it is all the more important to identify them, evaluate them and include them in the award decision.

The standard tendering procedure:
The tender for the planned power and gas demand – as a traditional form of procurement – is comprehensively accompanied by enervis. We ensure that the optimal product for you is procured at the most favourable prices. Our work begins with the calculation and analysis of the sales scenarios and the product definition, extends to the implementation or accompaniment of the market enquiry and includes the evaluation of all offers up to the negotiation and conclusion of the contracts.

In the course of the tender, we review the products offered with regard to pricing, payment terms, flexibility granted and risk drivers. Different indexations in offers or different trading places are brought to a common denominator, the offers are subjected to a sales stress test. It is clearly worked out under which conditions an offer is really the most price-worthy.

The service model:
enervis supports you in the selection of service providers. Together we design your procurement model and identify in-house tasks as well as tasks for tendering to service providers. enervis creates ServiceLevelAgreements to clearly outline the requirements for the service provider and to create a corresponding uniform evaluation basis.

Portfolio Management:
Portfolio management cannot immediately be called the most cost-effective procurement option. Depending on your level of experience, the number of staff and the available IT infrastructure as well as your goals to be achieved with procurement, we discuss different procurement concepts and their advantages and disadvantages with you. If the decision falls on portfolio management, we will be happy to assist you in the development of processes, specifications for IT systems, SLAs for service providers as well as in the development of internal know-how in pricing, risk management and the preparation of the necessary manuals.
