Arbitration

In disputes between parties about the interpretation and applicability of regulations in long-term energy supply contracts, arbitration proceedings are sometimes the typical procedure to solve the dispute.

The preparation and presentation of market conditions and facts is of high importance in any proceeding. enervis has a broad experience and knowledge as specialist in German and international arbitration (law suits under DIS or according to various international arbitration tribunals, such as ICC Stockholm or VIAC Vienna) and also in general courts.

Our work usually starts with an early stage, not least in order to sound out settlement options in the run-up to a possible arbitration decision and if necessary, it ends with our expert statement in the hearing.

Please contact us for further information.

Our service areas in such proceedings are:

  • Development of negotiating positions and negotiation proposals, if possible prior to the opening of arbitration proceedings
  • Assistance in the selection of experienced legal advisors
  • Development of a strategy as part of the customer’s commercial team together with the legal team
  • Preparation of expert opinions on the relevant issues of the energy market
  • Appropriate representation of our expert opinion directly before the arbitral tribunal
