Inhouse-Workshop: PPAs for Continued Operation and New Construction Projects. An Economic Evaluation for Wind and PV
Rising power prices and falling LCOE from renewable energy projects are leading to a great deal of interest in Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs): on the one hand, for renewable energy projects in further operation (especially onshore wind in Germany) and, on the other, as future revenue alternatives to a tendering system within the framework of electricity market-based merchant investments. Throughout Europe, PPAs already play an important role for wind energy and photovoltaics – and Germany is now also starting to see some movement.
In our PPA workshop, we show how these developments are to be classified and what assessments market players must make in this environment.
